Small groups.

A variety of home groups meet during the week, both in the evenings and during the day. The groups meet to study the Scriptures together, to deepen Christian friendships and to pray for one another, the church and the world. There are home groups in Healesville and Yarra Glen.

A ladies guild meets monthly for Christian fellowship and to provide financial support for our church and projects in the wider world.

Youth ministries.

St John's Youth Ministries (JYM) operates on Friday evenings from 6.30pm-8.30pm in term time. Youth group aims to encourage boys and girls in grade 5 to grade 10 to become disciples of Jesus and to grow as disciples of Jesus.

Children’s Ministries.

Our Children’s Leaders, Mrs Sherrin White and Mrs Claire Bennett, takes leadership of children’s ministries.

Kids' Club runs during the 10.30am contemporary service. Three programs cater for preschoolers, junior primary kids and senior primary kids. The children stay in the service until the children’s talk is finished and then go to their programs. Twice a term “Jesus 4 Kids” replaces Kids' Club and the children stay in church for an all age service.

Caring ministries.

Members of our church participate in Healesville Inter Church Community Care Incorporated. Members of the Christian churches of Healesville combine to provide an emergency food, a community meal and transport service for members of our local community.

A monthly service is conducted at Holmwood Aged Care facility and at Aurrum Aged Care facility. Members of the church community come to be part of the service, and to help with singing and extending friendship to the residents.

The parish is a partner in the combined churches of Yarra Glen Opportunity Shop.
